just an update about my life:
im currently busy with hall camp (coming soon), hall charity project and gg to start work next monday at biopolis! its just some boring admin job for 2 weeks.
also.....im feeling very excited cos i sent an email to salvation army, requesting to give kids tuition. i even went down to the children home already to hand in my application form and to take a look at the place... if accepted (most prob already la) den i'll start giving tuition next week!
the in-charge was telling me they are very short of volunteers... so i was thinking IF u guys are free, we could all go down to teach together! den amidst our busy schedule, we will also be able to find time to meet up. but this is a long term commitment (abt 6 mths), so its abit difficult la...
in any case if you guys are interested, the place is called The Haven, at 350 pasir panjang road. tuition every tues and wed (or either days) at 7.30pm to 8.45pm.
Joanna! It's like super near ur hse right! cos i remember passing by the PO which is the stop to ur hse right? haha...
yup, the kids there are either physically/emotionally abused, come from broken families or families with problems... so they stay at the home... exams are in oct or nov.. so alot of help is needed.. so if free and interested just let me know k!
